Pricing

One charge. Owners only.

Renters pay 0% — no commission, no booking fee, no wallet to top up. Rentza charges a 10% platform commission to the owner on the confirmed booking value, and the renter pays the owner directly for the rental itself.

Renters

0%

You pay the owner directly for the rental and the deposit. Rentza adds nothing on top and asks you for no wallet balance.

  • No platform commission on renters
  • No booking or reservation fee
  • No top-up required to submit a request

Owners

10%

A platform commission on the confirmed booking value, recorded against your Rentza commission wallet when you accept a booking.

Worked example

Booking value
N$ 1,000
Rentza commission (10%)
N$ 100
Your rental proceeds
N$ 900

The renter pays you the N$ 1,000 directly. The N$ 100 commission is a separate amount owed to Rentza and is never deducted from a payment Rentza processed on your behalf.

What that includes

Listing an item: free

Publishing a listing, editing it, pausing it and managing your calendar cost nothing. There is no listing fee and no monthly plan.

Owner commission: 10%

Charged only when you accept a booking, on the confirmed booking value. Recorded once on your commission wallet — never taken out of a payment Rentza processes.

Settling commission: manual EFT

Top up your commission wallet by EFT whenever you like, or let it carry as outstanding commission. An administrator confirms every payment.

What Rentza never charges

  • Renter commission — renters pay 0%
  • Booking fees or reservation fees
  • A wallet top-up requirement for renters
  • Escrow or any holding of the rental payment
  • Payout delays or release approvals

Where your commission goes

Your commission wallet only ever tracks Rentza’s commission. It never holds a renter’s rental payment, so nothing is held back from you and nothing is released to you later.

Pricing questions

When exactly is the commission charged?

When you accept a booking and the booking value is confirmed. If the rental is cancelled and the commission is not payable under the cancellation policy you configured in the Superadmin console, a separate reversal entry is recorded — the original entry is never edited or deleted.

What if my commission wallet is empty?

The commission is still recorded and shows as outstanding commission owed to Rentza. Rentza does not block an accepted rental unless the platform’s configured rules say to — the default is to record the debt and let you fund it later by EFT.

How does the renter pay me?

Directly — cash, EFT or whatever the two of you agree. You can save your Namibian bank details under Payout methods so renters know where to pay. Rentza never collects the rental payment and never holds a deposit.

Is the refundable deposit part of the booking value?

No. The security deposit is agreed and settled directly between you and the renter, and it is excluded from the commission calculation, so you are never charged commission on money you return.
